Fun craft idea- super easy!

This super easy craft will make you look like a handy lady with some Modge Podge

This super easy craft will have you looking like a genius with a paint brush and some fabric. I saw this on Pinterest and just happened to have a couple of canvases hanging around, so I thought I’d give it a shot. Turns out, it’s very simple and very fun!

I painted my canvas a light/steel blue color (mixing blue, black and white together to get the color I wanted) but you can pick whatever color you like that matches your fabric/paper.

I also had some extra fabric in my craft supplies, but the original post says they used scrapbook paper for the petals. Again, pick whatever you like that works for you. Some people said the Modge Podge didn’t work on their canvas, so you can use a glue gun to keep everything in place, but as you can see, my fabric and acrylic paint weren’t affected by the glue.

Simply place your circle where you’d like it on the canvas and work your way out from there, placing the petals around one another. You may want to cut some smaller petals as you go in order to fit them into smaller wedges.

The original post used four types of patterns, but I only had three patterns of fabric. I still think it looks great! Honestly, work with what you have (or can easily get your hands on) and go from there!

I bet you’ll feel as proud as I did once you’re done.  It looks so fresh and pretty for Spring, you can hang it on a wall to update a room or give it away to a friend or loved one. Good luck, and happy crafting!
